What’s our space really built for? Private Functions! With current COVID guidelines, we can host up to 98 guests in our private venue. Perfect for Engagement Parties, Birthday Celebrations, Weddings & More. Book out the entire venue and have your function fully catered for.


We do not charge a venue hire fee, we simply have a $2,500 minimum spend.


This minimum spend is to be covered by food and bar. A cash bar is available for guests once your tab runs out.


NOTE: 18th birthday parties attract an additional security cost of $92 per hour + GST (1/2 hour prior to start of event). This cost is not included in the minimum spend and is paid separately.


A cleaning fee of $140 also applies.


With current COVID19 guidelines of 1 person per 2m2, we can host 98 guests in our venue.



A $500 deposit is required to secure your date. Deposit is redeemable on food/bar tab. Act fast as 2022 is booking up quickly!


We do not hold dates without a deposit and an enquiry does not guarantee priority of the date. Deposits are not refundable on cancellation.


All food must be ordered at least 5 days prior your function date.


Please make us aware of any dietary requirements prior to your function. We can cater for Vegetarian, Vegan, Dairy and Gluten Free. 


NOTE: Children under 18 are permitted as long as they do not approach the bar, are well supervised and wear shoes at all times. By booking a function at Hideout Fortitude Valley, you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.


Please be aware that sections of the beer garden area of the venue is outdoors and uncovered. indoor areas of the venue have a great atmosphere and we can assure you that your function will still be a thoroughly enjoyed by all guests.


Please note that Hideout is licensed under a Restaurant license and therefore we have noise restrictions after 10PM. We appreciate your co-operation with this.


We can play your Spotify playlist directly through our system or we can provide music for you if you would prefer to leave this to us. Just let us know what genre of music you’d prefer!



Depending on the time you would like to start your function, staff will be at the venue 1 hour prior. For example if the host chooses to start their party at 6.30pm, the venue will be open for set up from 5:30pm for setup.


Please note for drop off and collection outside of opening hours we charge a call out fee of $80 and $45/hour, therefore, we suggest that you take everything with you when the function finishes.


You are welcome to select your start time although we are only licensed to serve until 12am.


Hosts generally choose to start their function from 6-7pm. We offer a 4 hour time slot from start to finish for all functions. This can be extended with an additional minimum spend for the additional hours.
